Livraison à domicile — Témoin

Livraison à domicile est un projet initié avec l'artiste Amalia Laurent au début du premier confinement. Nous avions alors constaté les différences de gestion politique de la crise ainsi que l’introduction de la livraison sans contact par les sociétés de service. Ces éléments nous ont amené à lancer un appel à projet international questionnant l’évolution de nos rapports à l’autre au travers du prisme de la livraison à domicile. Les quarante-quatre réponses collectées sont autant de manières d’interagir à travers le monde durant une période de mise à l’écart.

Le projet, riche en témoignages, nous permet de ré-envisager la diffusion artistique post-confinement.

Chaque artiste ayant participé a reçu une édition appelé Témoin afin de la transmettre à une autre personne et ainsi de suite à la manière d'une course de relai. La diffusion de la publication se fait ainsi au travers d’une circulation qu’ils ont initiée.

À partir de ces éditions échangées, une deuxième édition sera la synthèse du chemin parcouru par la première et la concrétisation d’une exposition éditoriale dont nous avons élaboré le commissariat.

Livraison à domicile is a project co-curated with the artist Amalia Laurent. We launched an international open call at the very beginning of the first quarantine. After receiving a newsletter introducing a new concept called ‘contactless delivery’, we decided to question the metamorphosis of our relationship with others through the prism of Home Delivery.

This first publication, called Témoin (with the double meaning Witness and Baton in French), contains the works of 44 different persons. The answers collected represent many ways around the world of interacting with others during a period of isolation. Also, this project rich in testimony allows us to re-imagine a post-lockdown artistic dissemination. Each participant received one edition and, as a relay race, will pass it to someone else and so on. This performance allows us to understand further the meaning of spreading art.

Each Témoin will be collected back to make a second publication that will be the synthesis of the path taken by the first one and the concretisation of an editorial exhibition that we curated.
