"Rubis sur ongle est une exposition collective proposée par Thily Vossier et Chloé Momi, comme une réponse à ces temps qui nous isolent, nous limitent et nous questionnent. En repensant la main comme symbole du faire, du soutient et du rassemblement, l’ongle devient un territoire de partage et d’expression peu exploré et qui pourtant n’appartient qu’à nous.

Le groupshow est l’occasion d’une rencontre entre dix artistes et le nail art. Les œuvres seront exposées sur quatre mains, visibles lors de rendez-vous qui prendront la forme de balades dans Bruxelles. Nos mains qui dans le contexte actuel ne peuvent se toucher peuvent encore se contempler." Mathilde Chambon

Faire mon numéro utilise un ongle comme cartel du deuxième. L’œuvre en question, un bonbon en verre filé, est posé sur un faux parquet vernis. Jouant sur les échelles, ce bonbon pourrait faire 6m, être du big art, quelque chose qui en met plein la vue comme pour moi le soufflage de verre.

"Rubis sur ongle is a collective exhibition imagined by Thily Vossier and Chloé Momi as a response to these times that isolate, limit and question us. By rethinking the hand as the symbol of crafting, supporting and gathering, the nail becomes a territory for sharing and expressing, still unexplored and yet belonging to us only.

The groupshow is the opportunity of a meeting between ten artists and nail art. The works will be exhibited on four hands, visible during on-demand meetings that will take the form of strolls through Brussels. Our hands may not be able to touch each other in the current context, yet they remain free to be contemplated." Mathilde Chambon

Faire mon numéro uses a nail as the cartel of the second. The work in question, a spun glass candy, is placed on a fake varnished parquet floor. Playing with scale, this candy could be 6m high, like big art, something that is as showy as glass blowing for me.
